The update 100036 adds basic LDAP functionality to m23. On a LDAP server stored user accounts can be used for user authentification on the clients. In addition home directories can be stored on a NFS server.

Today I release the m23 logos, posters and presentations of the last years that were used during speeches and exhibitions. The files can be read/modificated with OpenOffice or Gimp and are available in the download section or rather HERE.

It was not possible to install new clients due to changes and an error in the debootstrap package. This issue was fixed with the patch 100027.

Please update your m23 server over the webinterface to reenable the client installation.

We are present on the LinuxTag as a subproject on the Debian booth. A speech about m23 is held by Daniel Kasten and me.

It is taking place on Friday June the 24th at 4:00 pm in the room R 2.05.

It is possible to install the distribution Ubuntu
with the current m23 update. Update your m23 server as usual over the webinterface to make Ubuntu available as client distribution.
The Ubuntu support is a bit away from being complete. The release "Warty" worked for me in a short test with KDE3. Please check if the other releases and desktops are working and post me bugreports in the forum if they don't.
