OpenSource projects will have the opportinuty to present their work at the CeBIT 2010 in Hannover Germany. The m23 project will have a booth at the "CeBIT Open Source Project Lounge" and the privilege to introduce m23 to a big audience. The booth will show news and best practices around m23 and is sponsored by Linux Magazin in cooperation with the CeBIT AG.

You can visit us during the fair form 2nd to 6th of march 2010 in hall 2 at the "CeBIT Open Source Project Lounge".

This short video tutorial will teach you how to install and set up an m23 server in a VirtualBox machine. The tutorial covers among other things:

• The creation of a new VM and the configuration of it for usage with m23.
• The installation of the m23 server and its configuration.
• The first start of the m23 server

Firefox 3.5 and other browsers that understand the OGG/Theora video format can play the tutorial directly without a plugin. All other browsers should use the flash version instead automatically.

Desktop of the "Musterbüro 2009"

The new and revised 2009 edition of the Musterbüro can be downloaded now as preinstalled VirtualBox hard disk image or as Debian package to enable installation of m23 Musterbüro clients with your m23 server as well. In the new Musterbüro are lots of new application and tools and of course new versions of them. To give an example there are a completely preconfigured KDE 4.3.1 and appropriate tools like Okular and Co..

An installation list of the (main) programms can be found on the Musterbüro page (German only) at www.kieler-linuxtage.de/index.php?seite=musterbuero.html. To get an overview about these applications you can download the PDF file that is enriched with texts and screenshots of according Wikipedia articles. A short paper (one page for the Musterbüro and one page for installing the Musterbüro package on the m23 server) is available as PDF file too.
