Assimilating a linuxmint 16 client results in an empty package list.
In m23 Install-section, no packages can be found.
Furthermore, I see an error during integration stating that the package m23-initscripts depends on hwinfo, which is not available.
It seems that hwinfo has been removed from ubuntu saucy and therefore is unavailable in linuxmint as well. |

I just tried with an Ubuntu saucy client. It has the same problems: Package m23-initscripts cannot be installed, and the package list in m23 remains empty. |

Hi Jaywalker,
hope you had some nice holidays!
For obvious reasons, m23 only supports the LTS versions of Ubuntu, everything else would require more work than that it would be of use to anyone.
However, it may be that only little of the 'insides' of LM or Ubuntu have changed, so that they still are compatible with little effort. We did not try.
Did you try to install hwinfo, then? It seems someone resolved the hal dependency problem: https://launchpad.net/~mjblenner/+archive/ppa-hal.
Good luck! |
