If the client was created with the VirtualBox-OSE virtualisation contained in m23, you can start, pause and stop the client directly from the m23 interface.
You can choose between two different operation modes. In ”non-interface mode” (the so-called headless mode), you won't see the virtual monitor. You can start this mode by clicking on ”Start VM”. Depending on the daemons installed, you can access the system using different methods.
m23 also offers a graphical mode, which means that you can access the VM right from the booting. After a click on ”Start VM with graphical console” the VM starts and opens a VNC server, which you can access using a VNC client. The access data can be found in the ”Client information” in the category ”Virtualisation” as ”URL for graphical VM console” and ”Password for graphical VM console”. Depending on the speed of the virtualisation host, it may take a while until the values are displayed. If necessary, click on ”Refresh” repeatedly. With a click on ”Start VNC Applet” you can open the ”TightVNC Java Viewer” (you need to have Java is installed in your web browser) and access your virtual m23 client directly from the browser. Here, too, it may take a while unitl the link is displayed. Repeatedly click on ”Refresh” if necessary.
To pause a VM, click on ”Pause VM”; to stop the virtualisation, click on ”Stop VM”.
