-
Lock clientname / IP / MAC: By use of the function Lock clientname / IP / MAC, you can lock a client name, an IP address or a MAC address (e.g. the IP address of a network printer), so that this value cannot wrongly be used for m23 clients. Enter the IP, MAC address or name you would like to lock into the fields ”Client name”, ”IP Address” or ”MAC Address” and click on ”Lock clientname / IP / MAC”. The usage of the ”Lock clientname / IP / MAC” function requires you to fill out at least one of the fields marked with 1.
-
Add settings to DHCP server: If you would like to allocate network settings to a device by use of DHCP, you can enter your values in the fields ”Client name”, ”IP Address”, ”Netmask”, ”MAC Address” and ”Gateway” and click on ”Add settings to DHCP server”.
