Hi!
Installed m23 on a vserver with just a debootstarp installed:
it is missing screen
also the update function does not work properly :-(

There seems to be an error in the woody install script. This script is an interim solution only and will be replaced by a m23 Debian package soon.
I added a hint to the 0.4.9. update text, that you have to install screen in the server before you can proceede with the update.[/quote]

One more dependency is missing :-/
patch is missing, but is used to update everything :-/
apt-get install patch
After that it works as espected
You can integrate it into the update script by running
apt-get -y install patch screen
