If you would like to boot your client using UEFI, you need to select ”UEFI x86_64”. The architecture will automaticall be set to 64bit, as m23 only supports UEFI for 64bit systems. If your client computer does not support network boot in UEFI mode, you can use the 64bit boot ISO (see menu item ”Create boot media”).
Deploy and ship: This option allows you to install the client at a central location in order to subsequently send it to its destination and integrate it into the local network. Please consider: This can only be used in conjunction with the school network extension.
Ask the m23 server for a new job every 5 minutes: By activating, you let the m23 client independently ask the m23 server for a new job every 5 minutes. This may be particularly necessary if the m23 server cannot reach the m23 clients via SSH.
Bootloader: Choose the boot loader/boot manager for starting the Linux kernel and possibly already installed other operating systems.
