There is shown status information about the m23 client/VM host if it is running. You need to specify the settings of your new virtual m23 clients after choosing the VM host:
-
Host network card: Here you need to select the physical network card of your host if it has more than one network card. This must be the network card which is used to connect the host to your internal LAN. The VMs are connected via a software network bridge to the physical network.
-
VM name: The name of the new virtual machine. This name is identical with the name of the according m23 client.
-
Architecture: The CPU architecture that will be simulated for the guest system by the VM.
-
MAC Address: The MAC address of the VM. This address will be generated at random so it's very unlikely that there is a collision with other MAC addresses, but you can edit the proposed MAC.
-
Memory: The size of the memory (RAM) of the VM. This value should not be too high to allow the running of other applications and possible other VMs.
-
Harddisk: The maximum size of the virtual harddisk.
